As a voice coach in Free Your Voice, I sit in conversations with women as good as daily. Women who lived with an enormous capacity all their lives, who had accomplished a lot, who poured generously out of their own ability. Who juggled masterfully over and over again with impossible amounts of information and tasks. Encouraged by "streetsmart" silence, confirmed when they sacrificed their own health and integrity, have been talented girls in a well-oiled system of performance-oriented competition thinking. Who crashed with the candle burning at both ends. Who then themselves have been able to see the unsustainability that is this way of living and who have made a decision to stop living like that. Who decided to stop investing in the convenience of being liked.
And instead chose to live authentically, to not only be a recipient but also direct their voice outward, deeply nourished by their own power. The same force that binds us all together and therefore lifts everything and everyone affected by this decision to call back my own power, my own voice by acknowledging that I myself choose how I want to live my life <3
That I get to work with these amazing women every day is an honor that touches my heart deeply!
